Opening ceremony of the Olympics in Paris

Submitted by jeanette.weis on

The opening ceremony of the Olympics in Paris has caused a stir worldwide.

Was the Last Supper mocked here or does this fall under artistic freedom?

We have already been contacted by Olympic athletes who felt very disturbed by the mockery of Christianity and were asked to comment on this in our Paris Chapel Service and to post something on our social media.

I believe that Dr Johannes Hartl (German philosopher, Roman Catholic theologian, author, speaker and founder of the Augsburg House of Prayer) captured the issue surrounding the opening ceremony very well in the following video (in German "Olympia: Die Verhöhnung des Christentums" | Hartls Senf #22).

Dr Johannes Hartl is one of our guest speakers at our "Paris Chapel Services".

We already experienced at our first Paris Chapel Service and through interviews with international athletes how the light is shining into the darkness brighter than ever before...
