For the first time ever we received an accreditation from the IBU (International Biathlon Union) for the Biathlon World Championships. I was able to enter a completely new territory and make many new contacts. After the athlete devotion with a team I received a lot of positive feedback.
A team doctor gave the following feedback:
"Having a chaplain and chapel service available for athletes is incredibly valuable. Considering the physical and emotional stress the athletes are under during the season, athletes who are interested in receiving spiritual support or growing spiritually should have a chaplain available. Jörg hosted a chapel service for the US team that was attended by a number of athletes and staff, which was well received.“
